Baked Cotton Ball Craft

We found another little fun craft to do and Liam really enjoyed this one.
what you need
1 cup flour
1 cup water
cotton balls
food coloring (optional)

First you mix the flour and water together. We then separated it into a bunch of different bowls so we could make lots of different colors. So then we added the food coloring.  Then you take your cotton balls and dip them into the mixtures!

And mixed, mixed, mixed!
I love how he sticks his little tongue out when he is concentrating!
Then we took our cotton balls and dipped them into the different colored mixtures. You need to make sure you fully cover them with the mixture though!
Finished!!
He wanted to carry it around everywhere! He was so proud!
Then we put them into the oven! We baked them for about 45min - 1 hr @ 300 degrees.
Then when they were done we scraped them off the pan!! They now had a hard shell around them!
Checking it out!
We took a can (cause we didnt have a soft head hammer or anything) and started breaking them open! They would crunch everywhere and Liam LOVED it! You can also jump on them too!
He thought it was hilarious!
We had so much fun!
I Love all the little faces he makes and how much fun he had and that's why there are so many pics ( I couldnt just choose a few! Sorry. Maybe one day I will figure out how to make my pictures into the tiny cute collages that everyone is doing so you dont have to scroll through so many!)
